The prescribed work
- At the church of Casa Betania during the granted period, either participate in a jubilee celebration or spend a period in prayer.
- For the prayer alternative, recite the Our Father and Creed and invocations of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
- Be truly repentant and fulfil the usual plenary conditions, including complete detachment from sin. Eucharistic Communion may be received at Betania or another church.
The work and its conditions
A plenary indulgence also requires complete detachment from every sin, sacramental confession, Holy Communion, and prayer for the Pope’s intentions, subject to the grant’s stated exceptions. The ordinary limit is one plenary indulgence per day.
Conditions common to every indulgence
The person gaining an indulgence must be baptized, not excommunicated, and in the state of grace at least when the prescribed works are completed. There must be at least a general intention to gain indulgences, and the prescribed work must be performed at the time and in the manner required by the grant.

This narrowly framed record follows the community’s current directions, which expressly attribute the concession to the Apostolic Penitentiary. The original rescript, its date and protocol number have not been retrieved. It concerns Casa Betania’s jubilee, distinct from the nearby Orito shrine’s separate concession.
