The prescribed work
- Participate devoutly in the Saint Toribio jubilee celebrations, with a spirit of penitence and charity.
- Visit the chapel of Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo in Zaña as a pilgrim and observe its actual jubilee devotional directions. This bounded route retains both celebration participation and the pilgrimage visit.
- If the prescribed visit is made in a church or oratory, pray the Our Father and Creed under the ordinary rule in Norm 19, unless the particular concession provides otherwise. Follow any actual local jubilee prayer directions.
- Fulfill the usual plenary conditions: sacramental confession, Holy Communion, prayer for the Pope’s intentions, and complete detachment from every sin.
The work and its conditions
A plenary indulgence also requires complete detachment from every sin, sacramental confession, Holy Communion, and prayer for the Pope’s intentions, subject to the grant’s stated exceptions. The ordinary limit is one plenary indulgence per day.
Conditions common to every indulgence
The person gaining an indulgence must be baptized, not excommunicated, and in the state of grace at least when the prescribed works are completed. There must be at least a general intention to gain indulgences, and the prescribed work must be performed at the time and in the manner required by the grant.
Read the full conditions and norms. The cited grant and its specific provisions govern.

Occasion and source notes
Documented availability in this library begins 13 December 2025. This marks the period supported by the reviewed evidence, not an independently established legal commencement date.
No preceding-noon extension is inferred for the whole jubilee period. This Zaña route does not borrow Lima or Trujillo’s different jubilee closing dates.
The display begins at the officially reported opening and requests review after the closing date reported by Andina. These are evidence bounds, not a representation that the complete decree’s legal duration has been verified. The original instrument, any separate alternatives and impeded provisions remain unresolved.
The episcopal conference confirms the Penitentiary concession and CELAM identifies the celebrations and chapel pilgrimage. This listing retains the combined work described by Andina rather than inferring unnamed alternatives. Norm 19 supplies the Our Father and Creed when the prescribed visit is to a church or oratory; these prayers are not represented as a quotation of the unrecovered rescript. The chapel’s name alone is not used to establish its canonical status.
Prayer texts and resources
Follow the prayer count and formula specified in the requirements. The two Creed readers are alternatives.
