Occasion and source notes
The signed episcopal decree explicitly grants a partial indulgence, also applicable to the departed, for a contrite visit with time in prayer on the Perdonanza days. The 2023 inventory identifies those days as 1–3 April. It also states that the church lacks formal canonical recognition as a shrine under canon 1230; this particular grant is independent of the universal grant for canonically established shrines. The decree states no fixed prayer formula, minute minimum or terminal date.
