Vietnam: Salesian jubilee pilgrimage and Mass
Make a pilgrimage and attend Mass for the Vietnamese Salesian province and its mission on one of four specified jubilee occasions.

The prescribed work
- On one of the four specified occasions, make a pilgrimage to a church served by the Vietnamese Salesian province and participate in Mass, praying for the province and its mission.
- Fulfil the usual plenary conditions, including complete detachment from sin, sacramental confession, Holy Communion and prayer for the Pope’s intentions.
- The provincial notice specifies four occasions, not every day of the jubilee. Its opening report confirms proclamation of the Holy See’s decree. No special homebound extension is stated in the available directions.
The work and its conditions
A plenary indulgence also requires complete detachment from every sin, sacramental confession, Holy Communion, and prayer for the Pope’s intentions, subject to the grant’s stated exceptions. The ordinary limit is one plenary indulgence per day.
Conditions common to every indulgence
The person gaining an indulgence must be baptized, not excommunicated, and in the state of grace at least when the prescribed works are completed. There must be at least a general intention to gain indulgences, and the prescribed work must be performed at the time and in the manner required by the grant.

Complete the pilgrimage and participate in the prescribed Mass, praying for the province and its mission. No fixed minute count substitutes for participation; the local service schedule determines its duration.
