Phát Diệm jubilee for those impeded by age or illness
Those impeded by old age or serious illness may unite spiritually with the diocesan jubilee and offer their prayers and sufferings.

The prescribed work
- Be impeded by old age or serious illness; the decree does not expressly extend this alternative to every caregiver or other inconvenience.
- With detachment from every sin and the intention of fulfilling the three usual conditions as soon as possible, unite spiritually with the jubilee celebrations.
- Offer prayers and sufferings to the merciful God, finding consolation in tribulation. No broadcast or particular image is required by the original decree.

Conditions common to every indulgence
The person gaining an indulgence must be baptized, not excommunicated, and in the state of grace at least when the prescribed works are completed.
