Byzantine prayer for the deceased — Greek liturgical form · PDF pages 37–38, printed Greek pages 73 and 75; the prayer begins in the lower half of page 73 and ends with the first Amen on page 75.

The Holy See’s booklet for the funeral of Pope Francis (26 April 2025) prints the Greek prayer with English and Italian beside it. This liturgical form names Francis, Bishop, where the Manual’s English formula has N.; it also appears within a larger funeral rite. The linked Greek prayer is an edition-specific counterpart, not a literal translation of the Manual’s English wording or a requirement to recite the surrounding rite.
